BullsEye creates a clip made up of multiple Omf media files. These files are similar to the media files created by the Avid's Capture Tool (digitizer) and are designed to be loaded into Avid using Avid's Media Tool.
You should NOT use the Avid's Import function (from Avid's File menu or right-click on Bin).
You can record BullsEye's output clips to any folder you wish, but the resulting files need to be placed in an OMFI MediaFiles folder before Avid's Media Tool can access them.
There are two approaches to using BullsEye and Avid:
Output directly to an OMFI MediaFiles folder (recommended)
You can record directly to an OMFI MediaFiles folder. This avoids the need to copy or move the media files.
In this case, BullsEye will automatically minimize your active Avid application and restore it when the conversion is complete. This will be signaled by the
icon in the Progress box.
Output to a temporary folder
Create a temporary folder (lets say "MyBullsEyeMedia") and direct the BullsEye target output to this new folder. After BullsEye converts the media, copy or move (drag) the Omf media files to the OMFI MediaFiles folder you are using. Be certain any move or copy operations are completed before switching to Avid.
